For example if you want a 5.5" x 8.5' notepad, then you can't give the printer an 8.5" x 11" file. You must also create the artwork at a high resolution so that they will be printed at a high quality. Remember this is a pad where others will be writing on, so don’t clutter it with bright designs. Keep it simple and clean. Make sure all background images are faded properly.

Every sheet of the pad can be a source of advertisement. For example a doctor could use notepads to refer a patient to another doctor or an engineer may use a notepad to draw a sketch for a potential client.
